The FoSmeter accurately measures the magnetic field strength of an induction loop system. It is calibrated at manufacture for accuracy and linearity using a calibrated magnetic field. Ten LEDs are set out in 3dB increments to indicate magnetic field strength relative to 100mA/m (indicated as 0dB).
The AHHM/H also features gain and filter sensitivity switches, and includes a headphone input to allow the user to test the sound quality of the system (headphones not supplied). Uses a 9V PP3 battery (not supplied).
